Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, was looking for a way to educate and engage weight management patients in their health in between office visits.

Etcetera Edutainment created "Healthy Plate," a highly visual daily food tracking tool that helps kids log food intake and portion size, and highlights the importance of watching calories, fat and sugars in a fun, kid-friendly and personalized way.

The tool connects to a comprehensive portal which tracks and promotes healthy behaviors beyond food logging, such as exercise, fast food frequency and location of meals.

Patients and physicians are able to access data and monitor goal-oriented progress over time.
