Operation Spy
Interactive Exhibit Development

The International Spy Museum in Washington, DC recently opened Operation Spy, an immersive experience of intrigue and infiltration in which guests become agents involved in a high-tension mission to find a missing nuclear device. The Spy Museum called on Etcetera Edutainment to provide two exciting and highly interactive activities for the Operation Spy experience.

Video Surveillance: Up to 15 agents collaborate to use a hotel security camera network to follow a rogue agent as she makes a rendezvous with a stranger. Multiple control stations with touch screens, joysticks, and zoom buttons enable players to catch the action as it unfolds before them… if they’re quick enough!

Audio Descrambling: Having just intercepted a phone call, the team of agents must use this set of audio stations to turn unintelligible static into clear audio. With four knob-controlled filters, each station provides the tools to descramble their piece of the garbled call in real-time, but if they fail, important information could be lost!

With a realistic feel of espionage and a sense of teamwork and excitement, Etcetera’s activities help Operation Spy bring the world of spycraft to life.
